Church Camp

Overwhelming things have happened - even before we start our camp - our invited camp speaker, Anthony Yeoh from Singapore has moved on to glory after a sudden diagnosis of leukemia. We pray God's comfort and strength will truly abide with his family.

Anthony was going to minister to us on issues of healing and restoration in our tumultuous time in our society - we are in desperate need of God's healing and deliverance.

By God's grace we have come to know about Pastor Joshua Krishnan from Melaka, who will now minister to us in our camp.

BETH-RAPHA: From Ashes to Roses
comes from the Hebrew words Beth - House and Rapha - Healing.
In Isaiah 61 verse 1-3:

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of GOD, the Master, is on me because GOD anointed me. He sent me to preach the good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners.

Isa 61:2 GOD sent me to announce the year of his grace-- a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies-- and to comfort all who mourn,

Isa 61:3 To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them "Oaks of Righteousness" planted by GOD to display his glory.

We all have probably been guilty of "aggressive advertising" of the Gospel, and often we offer little comfort to those who really need the redemption that is the core of the Gospel. We are definitely going to be receiving God's healing and anointing and represent Him in our respective spaces.

Let's be thinking and praying for our friends who are in a broken situations right now, whether its financially, in relationships, in physical well being – anything at all, that they will encounter God's healing – regardless whether they will join us at camp or not. If you think they will really benefit from this camp, encourage them to come and be healed.

This camp is to help us be restful and restored, but be prepared for some 'extra' physical activities....!
